daring feats involving chocolate

i know my posts are not very exciting anymore… but i will proceed. 
because… i made chocolate truffles the other day! 
that’s all.  i bought some fancy super dark chocolate and set to work.  mid experiment the project looked like it was going to be a disaster, but no, they are delicious.  i’ve had 2 with my morning coffee.  they were a v-day gift for sean.  (with extra to share.)

in other news, i had a short trip to Chardon last weekend to conduct a LEED orientation meeting with my dad for some of his clients.  It was great and i can’t wait to work more on this with him.  (plus he’s very well informed and my mom is getting in on the energy efficient band wagon – serving as energy queen of GCo. Schools.)  looks like there are some other building projects in the pipeline as well.  while home i got to hear some of matt’s new project which is awesome.  he’s headed in a great direction.  also got to spend a night at the stephmeister’s house in tremont.  its such a tease to only get to one night to hang out.  but in that time we crammed some good fun.  stephanie made yummy cupcakes, i made a mii on the wii and got the hang of tennis, watched flight of the conchords, and decided the name Jack is officially passe for new babies.  name your babies something else.

while home i got to see some family too, which is always a pleasure.  and sauna time of course. 

work lately has been awesome.  i’m super busy – but in a good way.  kinda stressed.  i’d been conducting an apartment search amid the chaos.  all is well though.  i found a good place nearby and am moving at the end of the month. 

sean’s 7″ record release show is this weekend.  should be good.  i am really happy with the flier i made for him.  check it out.  and check him out.
